Simpson Grierson appoints three partners across New Zealand

Simpson Grierson has appointed one new partner in each of its Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch offices. Jo-Anne Knight joins the firm’s Auckland commercial litigation group, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in construction dispute resolution. Banking and finance law specialist Josh Cairns will be based in Wellington where he will advise on corporate finance, and restructuring and insolvency. Sarah Scott will head the local government and environmental group in Christchurch, advising public and private clients on planning, earthquake recovery, infrastructure and resource management maters.

Maddocks is bolstering its Commonwealth government practice in Canberra with the addition of two partners. Anthony Willis and Caroline Atkins both join from DLA Piper.
