Established in late 2019 by a founding partner of Trilegal, Anand Prasad, AP & Partners aims to service clients in sophisticated, high-stakes and high-value matters. Its corporate expertise rests in M&A, particularly those that are complex, distressed or contentious, and it has a growing expertise in technology matters. The department provides a full suite of services to clients that include domestic and international public and private companies, entrepreneurial startups, mature multinational corporations, as well as significant financial institutions, insurance companies, pension funds and venture capital funds. The team frequently acts for Indian companies, their founders and management in M&A deals as well as other corporate transactions such as joint ventures, equity and debt financing, mergers and business transfers.
