Aretha Legal brings M&A, private equity and venture capital expertise to clients across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin. The firm was launched in late 2022 by the founding partner of Grey Matter Legal and a former Luthra and Luthra partner. Corporate and private equity specialists Nitin Gera and Ray Vikram Nath helm the firm’s corporate teams. Its energy and infrastructure group was bolstered by the arrival of partner Rahul Bhattacharjee from an in-house role. The young firm is also growing its dispute resolution, employment and IPR practices. Key clients include Ark Impact Asset Management, Stellaris Venture Partners India, Metro Cash & Carry India, Roto Pumps, Sequoia Capital and Dealshare.
