Established in 2000, a (first generation) young (then!) lawyer couple started Juris Corp, that embraced self-confidence and recognised the vast opportunities that the legal profession offered in a post liberalisation era. Based out of a 450 square feet office, with 2 lawyers and 3 support professionals, the term Juris Corp was coined, in an era where family names (and abbreviations) for law firms was the norm.
Juris means “law” or “right” and Corp (coined from corporation) signifying that we were setting up an entity for other similar minded and passionate lawyers to join us in our endeavour.
We are distinctively positioned to offer a multi-disciplinary perspective on account of having advocates with multifaceted qualifications including, Chartered Accountants, Chartered Financial Analysts, and Company Secretaries, who form a core part of our Firm. This enables us to understand the commercial nuances of intricate issues and provide viable solutions, moving well beyond restating the law!
Today, as we approach our silver jubilee, Juris Corp is a reputed name with regulatory bodies and banks across the globe, financial institutions, funds, and other financial intermediaries, conglomerates, entrepreneurs, and even industry associations.
