Under the leadership of founder Kian Nam Ng, the practice maintains strong connections with various industry bodies and has been actively involved in significant insurance policyholder rights advocacy before government authorities. The firm bolstered its general and civil litigation practice with the arrival of partner Choo Foong Min from Ooi Weng Hooi & Company in June 2024. The case centred on claims regarding a RM4 million ($0.95 million) allocation to a Chinese primary school in Johor. The High Court ruled in favour of the defendant, finding the published statements were matters of public interest and not defamatory. The judgment emphasised that the content sought explanations about undisputed allegations regarding public funds allocation.
