PSL Advocates and Solicitors is a New Delhi-based boutique with a focus on commercial arbitration, insolvency, tax, corporate advisory, and commercial litigation. Represented New Okhla Industrial Development Authority in a complex contempt petition matter. The case involved a germane question of law that in a contempt petition the court cannot decide a disputed question of facts.

Acted for Trichy Thanjavur Expressways SPV in an arbitration it invoked against the National Highways Authority of India in relation to the latter’s failure to comply with the terms of the agreement between it and the client, curtailing the only revenue generation avenue of the client. This case will set a precedent on how matters arising out of a blockage of a single revenue source are adjudicated.

Represented Turkish power producer Aksa Enerji Uretim in a dispute with the liquidator of a well-known Indian entity undergoing liquidation over the purchase of plant and machinery components.

Engaged by the ex-promoter of Bhushan Power and Steel in a civil appeal pending before the Supreme Court of India.
