The $100 million fund will be used to invest in its typical types of litigation finance projects, with a particular focus on corporate portfolio projects in Australia.
The company foresees there will be a significant growth opportunity for its finance corporate portfolio projects, in which the company would provide funding and risk management solutions to the corporate entities across a number of cases directly. The company noted that Australia is an under-developed and therefore viewed as the key area for the company’s future growth.
The team includes a number of highly experienced practitioners in originating and structuring such transactions, which allow the company to remove the financial risk of undertaking litigation or other dispute resolution mechanisms and the detrimental accounting effects that accompany it.
