Established in 2011, Amicus started as a boutique transfer pricing firm headed by its founder, Ashutosh Mohan Rastogi. Since then, it has expanded to offer a full range of corporate and commercial legal services with four partners and 20 other fee earners. The firm’s tax practice, though still best recognised for its transfer pricing expertise, has become an end-to-end purveyor of all taxation matters ranging from direct tax and international tax to goods and services tax (GST). Clients come from the financial services and real estate sectors, and the firm has seen an uptick in its early-stage private equity work. Other key partners include corporate and PE specialist Shivi Rastogi, corporate partner Madhav Rastogi and litigation specialist Kinshuk Chatterjee.
