Successfully represented multiple MNCs and foreign companies on being reassessed and having prior notices issued quashed. This was a landmark judgment by the Delhi High Court, as it allowed around 1,400 writ petitions filed by taxpayers to be quashed.
Acted for Amadeus IT Group on the constitution of permanent establishment (PE) and the attributions of profits to PE in India.
Successfully represented oil and gas giant BG International as the appellant before the court in relation to an issue involving the taxability of payments received for various services rendered by the client to its group company. The client received a favourable ruling.
