Overview

W&H Law Firm was established in early 1995 by key former members of the China Legal Affairs Center within the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China. The firm is headquartered in Beijing and has successfully opened over 40 branches both domestically and internationally. After nearly 29 years of significant development, W&H Law Firm operates as a full-service legal entity, with a team of professionals specialising in various areas including bankruptcy and restructuring, intellectual property, shipping and maritime, criminal defence, financial services, dispute resolution, real estate construction engineering, labour and social security, corporate/commercial, special assets law, and family/matrimonial law. Currently, the firm employs more than 4,000 legal practitioners and support staff. The firm welcomed Qingyao Wang for restructuring and insolvency in October 2023.

Work highlights

Advised China Supply and Marketing Commercial Circulation Group on leading a number of investment institutions in the bankruptcy reorganisation of Supply and Marketing Daji.

Advised Luohe City Liuyuan Real Estate on bankruptcy restructuring. The project is the largest bankruptcy problem real estate in Henan Province, and it is also the first problem real estate that successfully completed the task of insuring and handing over the building in the bankruptcy process.
