Emiterio Manibog

Emiterio C. Manibog, Jr. is currently an Of Counsel of ACCRALAW.  He was formerly a Senior Partner of the Firm and Head of its Labor and Employment Department.  He specializes in labor litigation, dispute settlement, labor relations, collective bargaining negotiations, union formation and representation and work stoppages.  He also advises multinational clients on employee discipline, labor standards, mergers and acquisitions, overseas employment, outsourcing arrangements and rightsizing programs.  He also served as Chairperson of the Labor Policy Reforms and Industrial Relation Committee of the People Management Association of the Philippines.  Prior to joining the Firm in 1982, he served as a Senior Mediation Arbiter at the Bureau of Labor Relations.

• Assisted Asian Transmission Corporation in its recent collective bargaining negotiations with its hourly, monthly paid, and supervisors unions which resulted in the execution of Agreement without serious labor concerted actions.
• Advised Smithkline Beecham Realty Corp. (SBRL) on certain employment issues relative to its recent restructuring of its operations which affected a number of employees.
