Tejesh Chitlangi

Tejesh Chitlangi is a senior partner with IC Universal Legal and heads the firm’s financial services and investment funds practice at its Mumbai office. He has assisted in setting up of some of the biggest offshore and Indian Investment Fund structures. Under his leadership, the firm has regularly maintained a share of more than 30 per cent in the Indian private equity, venture capital, credit and hedge fund structuring/set-up space. He has advised several foreign investors on structuring their large billion-dollar deals. 

Tejesh also advises majority of the Top Fifteen Indian asset management companies/mutual funds, biggest wealth managers and advisers. He has also negotiated several global PE/VC & M&A deals. He holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Honors) from National Law University, Jodhpur, with specialization in corporate and securities laws.

Tejesh has been featured as the top Indian Investment Funds' lawyer and a Thought Leader by Who’s Who Legal including being the only Indian lawyer listed in WWL’s Asia-Pacific Top 5 Funds regulatory lawyers’ list.
