IndusLaw has hired back Bengaluru-based Rashi Saraf as a partner from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM). The corporate specialist had been at CAM since 2014, and was at IndusLaw prior from 2012.
Saraf’s practice focuses on investment deals, stemming from her focus on private equity and venture capital in the early years of her career. In particular, she has worked on cross-border and domestic transactions in the healthcare and education sectors.
IndusLaw co-founder Suneeth Katarki said to Legally India: “It is nice to welcome back someone who was a part of the firm’s initial years. She is so familiar with the firm, the culture and the team that I am sure she will fit in right back like she had never left. I wish her all the very best.”
Saraf commented: “This is a very exciting time to be in IndusLaw and look forward to contributing to the firm’s success.”
IndusLaw’s rapid expansion has seen the firm lateralling in 15 partners, while losing only four. The Bengaluru post now has 15 partners with Saraf’s joining and a total of 44 partners across all offices.
