Australian law firm Sparke Helmore Lawyers will merge with insurance boutique Jarman McKenna on March 1. The merger with the Perth based Jarman McKenna will bolster Spark Helmore’s national insurance practice and add to its capability in advising for insurers, underwriters and brokers.

AnJie Law Firm has hired Pan Xiang from Guangdong Zhong An. Joining the firm’s Shenzhen office, Xiang will be focusing on litigation and arbitration, insurance, corporate governance, finance and labour law. He brings with him extensive experience in arbitration, especially in labour dispute cases.

Juris Corp has promoted Nand Anand and Arunabh Choudhary as partners. Anand began his career with Juris Corp before moving to Khaitan & Co. He rejoined the firm in 2015 and heads the project finance and banking practice in the New Delhi office.
